In a context of economic crises, lack of work, inflation, etc., it is necessary to learn to save, mainly in household matters. Therefore, it is essential to know what we can do without spending our money.
Many make a list of things that need yes or yes, and there include, for example, food. I propose to do the opposite, start with what we don't need so much. If we make a list of food and then take out the account of what we will spend, we are likely to get frustrated. If we make a list of what we do not need or do not need to live, and we make the account, we will be happy to know how much we can save.
The first thing to start will be the services:
→ If you have cable TV and also use Netflix or other on demand service, stop spending your money! See how much time you spend using one or the other. You may only use the on demand service, so you can save on cable service.
→ The same happens with the landline. Every day it is more obsolete, however, many keep it for emergencies. Think about how many times you used it this month. Few, right? Think how many times you used your cell phone. More than a thousand? Then stop spending on the landline.
→ Many maintain their landline or cable service because they have their internet plan along with these services. If you get accounts, you will discover that with the plans of the telephone and cable companies, you end up paying much more than if you hired an independent internet service. Search your city if this type of service exists.
→ You may be paying for a very expensive internet plan according to speed, but is it really necessary that much speed? If you are not a gamer or do not watch movies online, high speed on the internet can get you more than you think. Consider moving to a cheaper plan.
→ At the end of the month, you can save a lot on your electricity and gas bills if you maintain responsible consumption. Do not leave lights on all night, the air conditioning in temperatures lower than recommended, and not having the house overheated in winter can make a difference when paying for these services.
